INTERIORS: THINK SMALL

Sometimes I find my biggest mistakes in interior design happen when I am so focused on the big picture, the large scale pieces and the overall feel that I forget to think small. I overlook the details that create the overall allure to a space.

Delightful needlework across the seam of a pillow or world worn patina at the base of a lamp. A delicate vase crafted specifically for a single tea rose.

And sometimes, I simply must remember to look up…

… and get lost for days in the creative possibilities the ceiling offers.
