My favorite new beauty product is the Goody Spin Pin. I am certain you have viewed the commercial, unless you never watch television. And then, good for you! But you are definitely missing out on this fantastic new recipe for the perfect bun.
I admit to being extremely skeptical that this new style of hair pin takes the place of 20 bobby pins… but it does! Or at least, it takes the place of however many pins you normally utilize to keep your tresses in a knot.
Last weekend I tried them while out of town for a wedding, and by Saturday night after all of the festivities were over, my bun was still going strong. In fact, I converted all of my siblings (even my long-haired brother!) into running straight out to purchase them as soon as their flights touched down in all of our various cities. Done and done.
The best part of the product is that you can either have a formed, tight ballerina bun, or the ever popular messy bun. Either holds. You simply twist your hair into whatever shape of knot you are interested in, spin the pins in (literally) and then skip along your merry way.
Needless to say, I am a little bit obsessed.
